United Heritage Companies expand their territories
United Heritage Life Insurance Company was recently admitted to sell life and disability insurance in the State of Wisconsin. The Company’s application was approved by the Wisconsin Insurance Department in April of 2005. Currently, the Company’s preneed insurance products have been filed with the Wisconsin department and are awaiting approval.
Additionally, United Heritage Life has had both its final expense and preneed policies approved in Hawaii, where the Company was admitted to sell life and disability insurance in 2004. We have appointed our first agent in Hawaii, and we expect to appoint more agents there in the future.
United Heritage Life is also in the process of preparing expansion applications to sell life and disability insurance in the following states: Alaska, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. We hope to have those applications filed by the end of September, in order to begin operations in those states as early as 2006.
Finally, United Heritage Property & Casualty Company has also been expanding its territory. After being admitted in Oregon in 2003, the Company expanded to Utah in 2004. This year, the Company is preparing an expansion application for Arizona, and hopes to begin covering Arizona policyholders in 2006.
