United Heritage Invitational Event



The annual Boise State Indoor Track and Field Meet has returned! This series of track and field events began January 21, 2006, in the Jacksons Indoor Track at the Idaho Center located in Nampa. Championships for the competitions will be held at the Jacksons Track on February 24th and 25th. United Heritage will be sponsoring the United Heritage Invitational for the third consecutive year on February 3rd at 7:00 PM and 4th at 10:00 AM. "United Heritage is proud once again to be a sponsor of this premiere Boise State Track and Field event," remarks Dennis Johnson, President and CEO of United Heritage. "Our sponsorship represents a continued commitment to supporting quality events, programs, and institutions in our local communities."



Close to 200 athletes from schools throughout the western United States will be competing for a chance to take part in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship games to be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas in March 2006. Among the nearly 200 contestants are five star athletes of the Athens 2004 Summer Games Ė former Boise State University track and field All-American Jared Rome, and his team mates A.G. Kruger, Ian Waltz and Brian Clay and Libor Charfreitag of the Slovak Republic. Along with the traditional competitors in the United Heritage Invitational, a Community Championship will be held to highlight top high school performers from surrounding states.
